**Compensation:**

Starting pay: $.56CPM + $26.50/hr Detention + $3k bonus

**Position Purpose:**

Responsible for transporting waste from a Stericycle location or customer location, to another Stericycle transfer location or processing location. All Company assigned vehicles are equipped with camera telematics which include inside and outside cameras. In addition, all vehicles are equipped with ELD (electronic logging device), GPS (global positioning system), and sleeper berth.

**Key Job Activities:**

o Manages assigned routes ensuring that waste is transported in a safe, timely, and accurate manner

o Responsible for picking up and transporting waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations

o Follows routing software route schedule

o Plans daily/weekly schedule based on Stericycle or customer needs by reviewing daily paperwork, e.g., manifest, route sheets, previous VCR, etc. provided by Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher

o Routes may be overnight up to 4 nights weekly, and require sleeping in the sleeper berth of the truck

o Communicates any issues to Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher for resolution

o Ensures load is secured and placarded if required prior to operating vehicle on public highway

o Planned drop and hook operation

o Must be able to push/pull light or heavy objects

o Must be experienced with mountain driving and ability to use chains as needed due to weather

o Ensures that assigned paperwork is completed legibly, neatly, accurately, and completely and returned to Transportation Manager/Supervisor or Dispatcher, at the time of debriefing, for processing

o Communicates with Stericycle Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher regarding any change to pickups. Driver is expected to provide the highest level of customer service at all times. Reports any problems/issues with accounts to the Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher before the close of business each day

o Performs a documented pre-trip inspection on vehicles prior to leaving yard to commence route. Performs a documented post-trip inspection on vehicles prior to being debriefed for end of route. Reports any maintenance problems to Transportation Manager/Supervisor and/or Dispatcher for follow-up. Ensures all defects have been corrected prior to operating the vehicles again. Use of ELD (electronic logging device) and Geotab to log hours per DOT guidelines

o Attend all required company meetings and adhere to all safety practices and company policies.

o Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading dock areas.

o Punctual, regular, and reliable attendance is essential.

o Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

**Experience:**

• High School Diploma, Driving School or equivalent

• 3+ Years of Experience driving tractor trailer required. Previous long haul driving including mountain driving experience preferred

• Experience utilizing chains while driving

• Maintains current Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), with an excellent driving record

• Doubles, Triples Endorsements a plus

• Demonstrates ability to read a map and follow turn by turn direction on electronic devices

• Demonstrates general computer skills and knowledge of internet

• May require mandatory immunizations and credentialing based on customer requirements

• Must work safely and carefully to prevent injury to self and others while driving, loading, and unloading vehicle

**Certifications**

Commercial Driver's License A (CDL A)

Medical Examiners Certification

The Driver Container safely operates a heavy-duty crane mounted truck and is responsible for loading, and transporting material containers to/from customer locations. Drivers will navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in tight overhead environments. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential, to successfully perform this job.

**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

+ Operates vehicle in accordance with Waste Management Safety and Life Critical Rules. OSHA. (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.

+ Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report.).

+ Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.

+ Participates in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings required by Waste Management or Route Manager.

+ Works closely with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.

+ Notifies Route Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.

+ Notifies Route Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, street, alleyways or potential safety hazards.

+ Communicates customer requests to Route Manager or Dispatch.

+ Completes and submits customer tickets as required.

+ Completes site evaluations to ensure locations are conductive for safe and proper servicing.

+ Positions and / or returns container on the customer’s property in a manner that ensures lids and or doors are properly replaced, and do not block driveway entrances or traffic.

+ Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and the check out process.

+ Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $26.17 and $30.79.

As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation.

As a Delivery Driver, you will have an impact on our customers by delivering our meats, produce, frozen goods, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to their drop-off sites. + No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years.

+ Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months of driving experience in the food and beverage delivery industry required.

+ Must be able to pass DOT physical.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Responsible for driving tractor trailers with combined weight greater than 26,000 lbs. GVW to pick up and deliver parts from customers or vendors as per the established routes. Must perform the loading and unloading of the truck to insure the safe operation of the vehicle.

+ Assist in picking customers’ orders and preparing them for delivery.

+ Count and check all items being shipped or delivered with accompanying documents (i.e., invoices, packing slips, bills of lading, etc.) to insure the completeness of shipments and the accuracy of documentation. Act to correct discrepancies. Obtain written receipt for items delivered. Advise supervisor of delivery problems or of input from customers.

+ Ensure that the vehicles are maintained and /or repaired. Responsible for inspecting truck equipment and supplies before departure and after each stop, and for acting to remedy any discrepancies. Submit a written report of each pre-trip and post-trip inspection.

+ With a forklift, load and unload trucks as necessary. Understand, support, and implement the company’s Housekeeping, Safety and Quality policies and procedures into daily work habits.

+ Wear and maintain protective clothing and equipment including safety glasses and steel toe safety shoes. Must wear safety glasses and hard hats in any vendor’s plant that may require such equipment.

+ Follow all safety practices during assembly and production operations and ensure work areas are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Haul Truck Driver to operate a 777 at a mining site near Bullhead City, AZ. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of heavy equipment operation experience, with specific expertise in haul trucks in mining or similar high-production environments. This is a critical role in supporting daily site operations and ensuring material is moved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

**Archer Western Construction** is currently seeking a **Water Truck Driver** for the **Brine Disposal Pipeline Improvements Project** in **Goodyear, AZ.**

The Water Truck Driver will drive a Water Truck with a capacity of at least three tons to transport water as needed around the jobsite.
