Primary Responsibilities
+ Responsible for accessing programs, setting tools, operating, and troubleshooting of multiple CNC machines for production including lasers, milling machines, plasma machines, press brakes, tubing benders and saws
+ Perform duties as specified by work orders, blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
+ Reads and interprets blueprints and work instructions to determine appropriate operations to be performed.
+ Uses inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, tape measures and squares to perform quality checks on parts as outlined by the work instructions.
+ Ensure all jobsite safety procedures and standards are followed and met.
+ Observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions during the manufacturing process.

+ Work with engineering to improve manufacturing processes.

The Machine Operator I will perform all processing steps necessary for the flow of product through the Kiln work cell; ensure product quality and adherence to appropriate processing standards; assist and instruct other departmental employees as directed.
This role is based at our facility in Tucson, AZ. The 1st shift schedule is 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
You will have the opportunity to:

Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Senior CNC Machinist/Programmer will produce machined parts by programming, if qualified, setting up, and/or operating either a conventional, numerical control (NC), or computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintain quality and safety standards; precisely follow job packet requirements; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies; communicate effectively and work productively with Engineers, maintenance personnel, and other operators/programmers. + Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

+ A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Must be proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications
+ Must be proficient in utilizing computer software, SAP, ETQ
+ Proficient in the use of other computers and software packages needed to function as a productive Machinist in a challenging environment
