**Your Impact**
+ Independently prepare electrical design drawings and specifications in consideration with safety, construction, and operations.
+ Perform engineering and design calculations for cables, sizing major electrical equipment, lighting, grounding, etc.
+ Prepare design drawings and documents for MV and LV electrical systems, grounding, lighting and lightning protection
+ Design overall power systems and develop Electrical onelines, plan drawings, installation details, wiring diagrams and fabrication drawings.

**Who You Are**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited program.
+ Minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering consulting
+ PE license required
+ Experience in creating engineering and design packages for electrical disciplines
+ Uses technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments (including more complex tasks) with some guidance and direction from more senior technical professionals. Independently evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks
+ Previous electrical engineering and/or design experience in substation, Oil and Gas, mining, industrial, water treatment, landfill or energy projects would be considered an asset.
+ Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of software such as Word and Excel.
+ Proficient with AutoCAD 2D/3D, and SKM/ ETAP.

**About the Role:**
The Network Engineer is responsible for the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at Level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three years of experience at Level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
**Education**
A bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution is required and a master’s degree in the area of specialty is preferred.
**Testing and Certifications**
Must possess the appropriate valid Arizona driver’s license.
**Hybrid Workplace**
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
